Peugeot 2008 Lease Deals

SUVs come in many shapes and sizes and that includes Peugeot 2008 lease deals. Among the more compact is the Peugeot 2008. We say ‘compact’, but in fact, it’s surprisingly roomy and although it’s essentially a practical car, its interior feels quite special. It’s particularly suitable for couples or young families who’ll appreciate its low running costs, a result of its efficient petrol and diesel engines. What's even better is that the Peugeot e-2008 has recently been introduced meaning that you can go completely eco friendly with a fully electric compact SUV, check out the trim levels and specification here. The electric car market is growing rapidly, it's great to see that the technology is being introduced into popular models now and not just futuristic looking shells. Other manufacturers in this segment would be a Seat Arona lease, Nissan Juke lease and Renault Captur lease.

Maintaining your Peugeot 2008 throughout the lease

If you select the maintenance plan then the finance company will pay for all aspects for the servicing and maintenance on the vehicle excluding damage or mechanical faults which would be covered by the manufacturers warranty. You would need to make the arrangements with your local approved service centre and advise them that the vehicle is a fully maintained lease vehicle at point of booking. This means that they'll liaise directly with the leasing company to obtain authorisation to work on the vehicle in advance. If you select the non maintained plan, you will be responsible for all servicing and maintenance costs. You must ensure that the vehicle is serviced and repaired in line with manufacturers guidelines, Further information can be obtained from the manufacturers website or vehicle handbook inside the car.

Insuring your car

You must ensure that the vehicle is fully comprehensively insured at all times throughout the lease agreement. Anyone is able to drive the vehicle with your permission, so long as they hold a UK license and are also fully comprehensively insured, which usually means that they'll need to be a named driver on your insurance policy. You must notify your insurance company that the finance company are the registered owner and keeper of the lease car.

Accepting delivery of your brand new motor

We include free delivery to UK mainland addresses, for identity purposes we can only deliver to your home or work address. You can usually appoint a spouse, partner or parent to accept delivery on your behalf if arrangements have been made ahead of booking delivery. At which point we would require your written consent and a copy of their identification. All cars are driven at point of delivery. Transported delivery can be arranged for an additional cost, ask us for full details. If you live in the UK but are not UK Mainland based, you can opt to collect the car from England at no additional cost, in such cases arrangements can be made for you to be collected from the Airport.

Handing the car back at the end of the lease

At the end of the agreement, contract hire is designed for the car to be handed back to the finance company. Sometimes you can opt to purchase the car or extend the lease, you'd need to contact the finance company to explore those options. Alternatively the leasing company will appoint an agent to collect and inspect the car. Inspection is usually conducted 7 days ahead of the scheduled collection date. When the inspection takes place (agreed date and time), they'll use the BVRLA fair wear and tear guide as reference, this document has become an industry standard. It details the allowances of wear versus what they deem to be damage. The agent will give you a copy of their report, which will allow you time to rectify any issues that the report may highlight before the car is collected."
