It is getting to that time of year when people love to get get the roof down
A Cabriolet is always a car of choice when the weather is nice, a car that is desired when those rain clouds subside and the sun shines brightly high in the sky. Even the great old British weather doesn’t put a dampener on Convertible sales in the UK, with more sold here according to population than anywhere else in the world. Perhaps that’s because in hotter climates you crave the Aircon and can’t wait to get inside from the baking hot sun? Who knows! With so many on the market to choose from, which is the best Convertible on the market to lease. Did you know that manufacturers have extended many of their existing models to accommodate a Cabriolet version, for example, the Audi TT now has a Roadster version, the Fiat 500 and Citroen C1 also offer an open top version?
Well looking back over our records here at National Vehicle Solutions, I can see that our Cabriolet order banks seem to increase around Spring with deliveries right up until November, the most popular leading models were the VW Golf Cabriolet which was discontinued in 2016 and has since been replaced with the Beetle Convertible. Audi A5 Cabriolet for many years has been a popular convertible lease which tends to rival the Mercedes E Class Cabriolet. For a few years the BMW 4 Series Convertible was heavily subsidised between Arval and Lex, so this always represented fantastic value on lease with stock and order slots quickly being snapped up. The Fiat 500C Electric, not only gives you the flexibility of roof up or roof down but also helps us to help our environment by being the greener alternative.
The BMW 4 Series Cabriolet has the comfort of 4 full size seats, just like with the Audi A5 Cabriolet, so you’re not having to forfeit family life and comfort over style and class. The Mazda MX-5 offers driving purity, it’s limited on space, doesn’t boast the horsepower, isn’t a premium brand yet consistently walks away with awards each year. So which Cabriolet/Convertible will you choose?
